So not my first trip to Henry’s, but this will be my first review 🙂
Me and the BF were really hungry for lunch and when he said “how about Henry’s puffy tacos?” I was like “YES!”
We got there about 2:00 on Friday, which turned out to be a perfect time. We were seated right away and still had time to order from the lunch menu (ends at 2:30). Of course we were given the complimentary chips and salsa, which tasted fresh and the salsa had a great flavor as well.
I wanted to try something new since they offer a build your own plate where you can mix and match tacos, chalupas, enchilada and of course puffy tacos for 8.95.

I decided to go with the 2 taco Henry’s puffy taco plate, one shredded chicken and one picadillo. It comes with rice and your choice of refried or charro bean, I chose charro.

The BF also went with the puffy taco plate, but got 2 chicken and one carne guisada.
If you have never tried puffy tacos, or Henry’s you absolutely must give it a try. The taco shell is cooked perfectly, a little crunch, but with a good bite. I love their shredded chicken which doesn’t have onions or bell pepper in it and their picadillo was amazing!
The charro beans were also quite good. For some reason they don’t give you flour tortillas with your meal, which is fine because we had plenty to eat. Just fair warning in case you expect that.
Our waitress was great, polite, not overly attentive and efficient.
This is an option anytime you’re looking for good food in the area.
Definitely won’t be our last time here!
